“When you have a kid who is non-verbal and non-mobile, seeing his name on a college football locker is kind of mind-blowing. Then we saw his personalized jersey, and we knew he was officially part of the team.”
– Jessie, Mitchell’s Mom

This relationship has meant so much to not only Gaven, but Mark and I as well. Gaven gained so many older brothers to look out for him and take care of him, and Mark and I gained that many sons and we are sad to see everyone go. We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making last weekend so special for all of us.
Team IMPACT has provided my kids the opportunity to make meaningful relationships, during a time in which treatment has isolated them from their peers. Through these incredibly powerful relationships between the child and the team, I have seen the positive mindset, confidence, and self-advocacy skills grow.
