Tracey is Head of the Securities Division at Goldman Sachs in the Midwest, Canada, and the Southern Region, responsible for managing the Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities and Equities businesses. She is a member of the Securities Division US Operating Committee. Tracey also serves as co-captain of the University of Chicago recruiting team and is an advisory to the Securities Division Women’s Network Steering Committee. Tracey joined Goldman Sachs in 1995 as an associate in FICC. She was on the Chicago corporate desk for five years and then moved to the Portfolio Credit group in New York before returning to Chicago corporate sales. Tracey was named managing director in 2005 and partner in 2010. Prior to joining the firm, Tracey worked as an investment banking analyst at Salomon Brothers Inc. Tracey serves on the Chicago Finance Exchange Board, the Chicago board of the Positive Coaching Alliance, and the boards of the Lincoln Park Zoo, Year Up, and the Game On! Sports Foundation. She is also a member of the N Club and Economic Club of Chicago. Tracey previously served on the board of the Stanford Graduate School of Business School Management Committee for three years and is a Chicago-area interviewer and admissions advisor for the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Tracey earned an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 1995 and a BA, with honors, in Mathematical Methods and Economics from Northwestern University in 1991. She played basketball for Northwestern when they won the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament in 1990. Tracey and her husband, Ed, have two children and live in Chicago.
